The Főnix Wellness Resort Castle Hotel offers a unique and inspiring environment in Nógrádgárdony that goes beyond the usual hotel facilities. The castle preserves the 19th century heritage of the Zichy and Majláth families, while enchanting our guests with modern amenities.
If you are looking for an unusual location for your company training, annual review event, one-day or multi-day meetings, company dinner, indoor or outdoor team building programmes, the Főnix Resort is the perfect choice.
Nógrádgárdony, the former manor centre of the counts, is just over an hour’s drive from Budapest, but is the perfect distance to keep your colleagues active in the evening for informal discussions. Here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can enjoy a peaceful, undisturbed environment.
For events of more than 30 people, we offer exclusive use of the venue, so you have every square metre of the castle and park to yourself. We’re happy to accommodate any training ideas, from theatre to raft building.
We have four naturally lit rooms – for events from 6 to 60 people – so there’s a space to suit all types of gathering:
Mikszáth Hall (85 m²)
Zichy Hall (60 m²)
Majláth Hall (35 m²)
The rooms can be used in a variety of layouts – in rows of chairs, U-shapes, school decks or banquettes – to suit the event. For smaller meetings of 6-8 people, we offer a special atmosphere in our library. The wine cellar is a great place for evening brainstorming. This allows us to provide a flexible and elegant environment for all types of needs.
Our wellness and spa area offers outdoor and indoor pools, a jacuzzi, sauna, various massages and refreshing services. Exclusive use of the wellness area is available after hours for an extra charge.
The castle offers 36 rooms and a spacious suite. Each room offers a beautiful view of the park with its mature trees. Our petit, standard and superior rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 57 people. For corporate events we offer single accommodation for 43 people.
Our restaurant and spacious terrace offer a wide range of gastronomic experiences. The possibility to cook together and a menu tailored to your company’s needs offers a unique culinary experience for all participants.
The 7-hectare park with its ancient trees invites our guests for pleasant walks, where the closeness to nature offers a real recharge. A unique experience is the horse-drawn carriage ride in the count’s carriage under the Chitari hills. In the cellar you can play games of darts, billiards, ping-pong and foosball, while in the castle you can enjoy wine tastings and wine dinners. The park also offers cooking and cooking competitions. For those who love active recreation, there are also hiking and cycling tours. For thrill-seekers, the nearby Palóc Ring offers an unforgettable experience on Hungary’s longest go-kart track.
We welcome you to the Phoenix Resort, where the relaxed, inspiring atmosphere and our unique services will ensure the perfect conditions for your programme! You tell us what you need and we will take care of the organisation!
